Objective: You will use your critical thinking skills to infer your own ideas about the meaning of the story read in class.

Model: I will read an excerpt from a play written by Shakespeare . I will then breakdown its intended meaning for the rest of the class.

Guided Practice: students will work in groups of three. Each group will determine how this story is compared (similar/different) to other fictional stories they have read

Independent Practice: You will use the venn diagram to compare and contrast similarities between your own life to the life of the main character in the story.

Assessment: You will write a one paragraph essay about the following quote “What the superior man seeks is in himself, what the small man seeks is in others”(Web)
In your own words determine what this quote means to you.
